NEOSSat being prepared for vibration tests at DFL

Canadian Space Agency (CSA) technologist Tony Russiello prepares NEOSSat for vibration testing in CSA’s David Florida Lab test facility at Shirleys Bay campus, Ottawa, Ontario. Vibration testing simulates the vibration during the launch of the satellite. NEOSSat is a dual-mission microsatellite designed to detect potentially hazardous Earth-orbit-crossing asteroids and track objects that reside in deep space. It is also the first implementation of Canada’s generic multi-mission microsatellite bus.
